The Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Sarasota is stocked with all kinds of unique and fun items that are donated by our generous community members. Our dedicated volunteers work hard to turn these donated items into blessings for those who need it most.
Here, shopping is both fun and a service to others!
Many donations are sold in the store at discounted prices, and all funds are then sent to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, where they can be used for assistance with utilities, food, vouchers, and other forms of support. Some donations are directly provided to neighbors who need emergency items, such as clothing, shoes, or household goods.
The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store is just a small part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, operated by the Manasota District Council. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit Catholic organization devoted to service, and it has over 700,000 members in 142 countries! Around 12 million people are helped every year by Vincentians just in the United States.
